Residents of Ujamaa in Maseno were treated to drama on Thursday after a lady stormed a plot in the area to flash out her daughter from a house said to belong to her boyfriend.
It is said the elderly lady who traveled from Naivasha was tipped by the girl's aunt that the Maseno University student lived with her boyfriend near campus.
The angry lady is said to have stormed the plot shouting on top of her voice that the girl comes out of the boyfriend's house.
“The two refused to open the door forcing the intervention of the landlord who tried to calm the furious mother and asked the two open the door," a neighbour to the two said.
It is alleged she slapped the boyfriend before drugging out the girl with her belongings.
“I did not send you to school to get married. I spend all my money on your school fees and here you are, instead of reading you are a house wife," the woman reportedly told her daughter.
She also accused the landlord of allowing the two students cohabit.
The landlord however did not respond to her accusations neighbours told this writer.
The tenants were left shocked as she dragged her daughter with her belongings out of the plot.
“The two have been living together since last year. This is the norm here. Students are cohabiting to minimise costs and live with their partners,” said Eunice Ogembo a tenant at the plot.
