There is a new dawn for Nyamira county health workers as they are set to be promoted as a way of advancing their welfare and motivating them to give meaningful services to the residents.
According to Nyamira governor John Nyagarama, the county government is eyeing to improve health standards and ensure that all the county residents receive quality health.
He added that those who will be promoted include doctors and clinical officers and the appreciation will be offered based on their performance and years of experience in the specific fields.
“I am happy that Nyamira health workers have always been committed to deliver, and as a way of appreciation we will ensure that we promote them and bring up those who have been fully dedicated to the county service,” he added.
He said the county government is also looking forward to starting up many hospitals in each sub-county and also upgrade the current facilities.
“We have the capacity to bring up a new face to our hospitals and we have already started upgrading the existing ones and we are also keen to increase more facilities by the next financial year,” he added.
