The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission central rift region has missed it target of registering 260,000 new voters in the region as it had intended.
IEBC central region boss David Towett said they are far from reaching the target with only two days to the closure of the exercise on Tuesday.
Towett said they are even struggling to meet the half mark of their target.
Speaking Sunday at Nakuru town, Towett said he anticipates by the target March 15, they might have registered slightly over 100,000 new voters.
"At the start of the exercise we had anticipated to register at least 260,000 new voters but as things stand we might to be closer to that target,"said Towett.
He added; "the best we will do is to at least have 100,000 new voters by the closure of the exercise."
