Webuye West MP, Dan Wanyama has claimed Bungoma senator, Moses Wetangula is wasting his time supporting CORD.

He says Wetangula is simply sticking around because he thinks the party leader, Raila Odinga will endorse him as the party’s flag bearer one day. He said that if this is indeed Wetangula’s dream, he should wake up since the dreams are not valid.

Wetangula is one of the officials in CORD. However, he has not openly communicated to the public if he wants to be endorsed by former Prime Minister Raila or not.

According to Wanyama, Wetangula is not doing justice to himself since he seems to be milking a stone which is impossible. He advised the senator to ditch CORD for Jubilee.

‘‘I will support Wetangula if Raila endorses him as a flag bearer but this is next to impossible and can only happen in a dream,’’ said Wanyama.

Speaking at Masinde Muliro Gardens in Kakamega over the weekend, Wanyama said he thinks Wiper party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka stands a better chance of being the next flag bearer of the CORD party, after Raila. He also asked Western people to support Jubilee and register in large numbers as the voter registration exercise is still on, running up to March 15.
