Former Kisumu County Executive for Roads Vincent Kodera has called on leaders elected on C0rd ticket to pay back to the party through championing for voter registration.

Kodera said the leaders are beneficiaries of the party strength in the last general election hence should do all they can to ensure the party’s strongholds get maximum voter listing during the ongoing mass voter registration.

In a communication through his facebook account, Kodera noted that the leaders needed to set up.

"To solve the problem of registration apathy, the officials simply need to give themselves a target of 100 new voters for the whole period," advised Kodera.

"This will be a whopping 6,000 new voters per polling station at the end of the exercise," wrote Kodera.

“If they fail miserably they can do 10 new voters each which still gives 600 per polling station, and a massive over 4 million new voters in Cord strong holds," he continued.

"It should be a responsibility for the party officials and a payback for their being elected,” concluded Kodera.

Kodera, who was sacked by Governor Jack Ranguma among four other county executives last year has been politically active and is tipped to be eyeing Nyakach parliamentary seat or settling for deputy governor in the forthcoming 2017 general election.
