Following the release of the 2015 KCSE results on Thursday, 3rd March, candidates who did not perform well have been urged to join vocation centres to learn skills that will help them in the future.
A businessman in Kibera, Silvanus Ong’uti, who owns a sewing machine at DC advised these students to join vocation training centres to learn skills that will help them in life.
“Students who never performed well in the recently released KCSE exams should not lose hope in education instead they should join polytechnics and other vocational training institutions to learn courses that will help them in future life. Failing exams is not the end of life,’’ said Ong’uti.
He urged parents to ensure that the dreams of their children are fulfilled.
Ong’uti concluded by telling parents to help their children start up businesses to boost their living in case they do not want to join a vocational training course.
