Joram and Growth, Jiinue Ufaulu, We are heading somewhere, Kwirutira group and Rising stars from Mangu, Chania, Githobokoni and Gituamba wards respectively received their cheques on Monday.

The chairman noted that the youths who benefited from the funds had strong cash and long-term plan on which they would build the funds repayment program.

Kiragu observed that the groups would have a six months grace period before they could start repaying the funds.

"I advise you to use these funds wisely to better your lives. Remember you have proven to the vetting committee that you are financially strong and your projects are firm enough to help in the repayment program. I urge you to cooperate with your clients to ensure a consistent fund flow that will even enhance you creating jobs for the others," he urged the beneficiaries.

The chairman revealed that more than Sh5 million would be released in a span of five months and asked the groups to work in harmony with it's members to derive better proposals and pass the vetting exercise.

The groups lauded the release of funds citing it as an initiative to help grow the youths from the area. They promised to use the funds to develop their ideas for job creation.
