Maiyo said on Monday that a number of performing schools have raised the red flag that the results do not reflect their performance in the past recent years.

"I have received complaints from five secondary school heads in the county saying that they sense malice in how the exams were marked and that they are contemplating going for remarking," he said.

He said it's sad that some schools were not satisfied with how the exams were handled.

"How can a school that has been performing very well in the last 10 years drop by over four points? There is something wrong somewhere, Knec must style up and put its house in order," he said.

He urged Knec to address the issue of poor marking with immediate effect to maintain the credibility of national examinations.
