Kibra MP Ken Okoth on Friday awarded bursary cheques to 110 students from the constituency.
The students who are set to join universities and colleges were each awarded Sh10,000 bursary cheques.
Addressing journalists at the Constituency headquarters on Friday, Kibra Constituency CDF chairperson Leah Asego said that a total of Sh1.1 million had been spent to carter for the bursaries.
"The bursaries were awarded to university and college students who are joining the institutions for the first time. We had set aside Sh1.1 million to cater for the bursaries and we hope to award more students once we receive more money," said Mrs Asego.
