Students, parents and guardians from Langata Boys High school are a happy lot after the school emerged as one of the top schools in last year’s KCSE exams.

The students and parents took to the stage today to celebrate after the school was listed among the schools that had the best score in the KCSE results.

The school achieved a total score of 9.06, with the best student, Fredrick Ochieng received an A.

Speaking to journalist on Friday while holding the celebration, the student said he owes all thanks to God for helping him through his secondary education.

"The key is confidence. Just believe in God and work hard as well. That is the secret to success,’’ said Ochieng.

The school had three pupils who get a score of A, five who scored A-, 19 got

B + and six students scored B- .
