Kisumu County youth have been challenged to attend education forums.
The youth were told through the forums, they can garner information and that is helpful to their growth.
Kisumu County Voice Representative Chairperson Audi Ogada speaking at the Kisumu National Polytechnic on Friday said at an educational forum organised by Wayan Organisation that youth must take up the challenge to transform the country.
“We encourage such forums to be in place, the youth are highly encouraged to attend and participate on matters brought on board as they highly affect them,”noted Audi.
He further confirmed that it was important for the Non-Governmental Organisation to train youth in such forums and in turn give them activities to empower fellow youth who lack such experience.
He said much still needed to be in place and asked the county government to help the youth transform.
Kisumu County Rural Youth and Gender Sociologist Florence Atera said such forums were important and should be embraced with seriousness.
