Residents of Mavoko constituency in Machakos county on 23 December gathered outside CDF offices with their Member of Parliament Honourable Patrick Makau King'ola. Makau had called for the meeting to celebrate this festive season with his people.

During the meeting, he urged them to be close to their children during this season whereby people behave recklessly especially the youths due to drug abuse. He also told them not to overuse what they have saved so as not to lack school fees come 2016 January.
