Police in Kangundo Sub-County, Machakos County, on Monday nabbed a man in possession of 10 stones of bhang.
Confirming the incident, Kangundo Location chief Bernard Mbinda, said the suspect, who tried to resist arrest, was arrested in Isinga after he was found in possession of the bhang.
Mbinda said the police made the arrest following a tip off from community policing members in the area.
"The man was nabbed in Isinga village after police found him in possession of narcotics. He resisted arrest and tried to run away but the police managed to apprehend him,” said Mbinda.
The suspect is being detained at Kangundo Police Station as he awaits his arraignment.
Kangundo OCS Morris Okul said police have launched investigations as the man is a suspected drug dealer.
