Further improvement of road networks, boosting agriculture, provision of water and allocation of more bursaries are Uasin Gishu County's top agenda this year.
Governor Jackson Mandago said the county leadership is just a few steps to fulfilling all its pledges.
The county has graded and improved over 2,000 kilometers of roads.
In the education sector, bursaries to each of the 30 wards have been increased to Sh4.5 million.
The 1,200 county-students taking technical courses at Rift Valley Technical Training Institute (RVTTI) will be graduating in August this year.
Mandago said these on Tuesday while delivering a speech at the Uasin Gishu County Assembly.
The assembly resumed its sessions after two months of recess.
The county chief said the executive and the assembly relished a good relationship and the two arms of government are acclaimed for the good work done so far.
"I specially thank the County Assembly for prioritising passing of Bills which give a way forward to implementation of activities by the executive," he said.
"And as we start off a new year in service, I know and believe the good relationship between the two arms of government will continue," Mandago added.
