Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has promised Nakuru residents of his commitment to developing the county.
He said he would ensure each region receives the county's support in resource allocation.
Speaking on Sunday during a fundraiser at Manyibei Catholic Church in Keringet Ward in support of the church’s construction, Kinuthia said his government will not overlook any region over the others.
"My government is firmly committed in championing for development across the county," he said.
"Our main aim is to ensure that the grass root regions are supplied with necessary resources that will help open them up to create more opportunities for people."
The governor also called on leaders who are moving around the county criticising his government to help in serving people rather than spreading divisive messages.
"It is only by working together that we can achieve our development goals in the county," he said.
"Therefore, those engaging in criticising the government should also be at the forefront in serving the people instead of sitting on the fence and engaging in baseless and divisive politics."
Mr Mbugua was accompanied by his Deputy Joseph Rutto, Mosop Ward MCA and Majority Leader George Mwaura, nominated Senator Liz Chelule, Keringet MCA Leah Serem among other county leaders.
