Nakuru governor Kinuthia Mbugua has pledged to remain on course in dispensing governance and services to the people of Nakuru against a wave of early campaigns by antagonizing forces.
In an exclusive interview on Tuesday, the county boss said that his focus is on implementing his campaign manifesto and nothing will shift the focus.
“We have put all our efforts in serving the people of Nakuru, what we have achieved in three years is commendable and we will not waiver from this course or be deflected by those jumping the gun before the right time to campaign for the 2017 elections comes,” said the governor.
Mbugua said that now more than ever, his government has a clear focus and an outline on what citizens of Nakuru want and will strive to deliver.
“We know what the people of Nakuru want and as a team, we are working together to make sure that we deliver and prove that proper governance can change this county,” he added.
The county government of Nakuru adopted an outreach programme geared towards interacting on a one-on-one with residents at the sub-counties.
