Menengai Oil Refineries Limited it set to unveil its beneficiaries for the 2016 scholarships under the 'Menengai Creame Sponsorship' programme.
Managing director Onkar Singh Rai said the vetting process had been finalised and was a matter of time before the full list of beneficiaries was made public.
Speaking in his office on Wednesday, Onkar said the programme has given hundreds of students from needy families a chance to achieve their dreams and expressed confidence of having a successful selection.
"Our scholarship applicants have been shortlisted and the beneficiaries shall be announced within the next few days," he said.
Adding that the company was in the process of meeting the successful applicants and, "offer them a lifetime opportunity to join universities and complete a courses of their choice."
This is part of the company's corporate social responsibility geared towards giving back to the society.
