A non-governmental organisation has partnered with Kibra Constituency Development Fund and area MP Ken Okoth in taking pupils for the screening of the Malala movie.

Moving Cultures cultural promoter Wanny Angerer from Honduras confirmed on Monday that they will sponsor 10,000 pupils to watch the movie an Nakumatt Prestige.

Speaking at the CDF office at DC area, Angerer said she was happy for participating in empowering children.

She, however, urged the pupils to be cooperative when they arrive at the screening room since many activities will be taking place at the same venue.

‘’The children are being served with popcorns and sodas so that they don’t feel hungry in ‘class’," added the constituency parliamentary liaison officer Vincent Ayako.

The movie screening started Monday and will  run for the entire week. About 400 pupils have been selected in the first batch.

Teachers from all schools in Kibera have been urged to bring as many pupils as they can since it is a free exercise.

The schools, however, will watch the movie in different shifts as selected and arranged by their teachers.
