Kikuyuni residents have today expressed their joy to their area Mp Stephen Mule after he officially opened the new St Joseph Kikuyuni Secondary School.
Speaking yesterday during the official opening ceremony in Kikuyuni village, Mule reiterated that he will continue serving the people and transform the education sector within the area.
"This is the 8th new day secondary school to open in the last 2 years. I will continue embarking on development projects in order to curb major problems that have affected our people for a long time," said Mule.
He further promised to start funding the Kalandini Secondary school's science laboratories as early as June this year calling upon all parents and other leaders in the area to work together and promote education among children.
Parents within Kikuyuni village can now take their children to learn in the school and have been assured of proper teaching by qualified teachers.
Stephen Mule further reiterated his support for education among all children and urged parents whose children have not been going to school to take the first initiative of taking the children to school saying that it will help curb ignorance among children within the area.
"I am humbled and feel honoured to work for my people. Every project that we had set last year and has not been met will be our next thing to do," Mule added.
