The Jubilee Alliance will be the party to beat come 2017 and that will only be achieved if the voting bloc registers in large numbers.

This is according to Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri who believes that time has come to prove to the Opposition that Jubilee has the numbers across the country.

Speaking at Bahati shopping centre on Thursday, Ngunjiri advised youth in the area to register as voters so as to be on the driver's seat during next year's general election.

He revealed of having met other Jubilee kingpins in the county with an aim of launching a massive voter registration targeting the youthful generation.#

"We have a plan of traversing all the 11 sub-counties in Nakuru to ensure that anybody who is 18 years and above registers as a voter before the exercise is closed," he said.

According to Ngunjiri, they are strategising on how President Uhuru Kenyatta and Governor Kinuthia Mbugua will retain their seats which he said could only be achieved if youth registered in their numbers.

This comes barely two days after Cord leader Raila Odinga noted that the coalition was strategising on ways of curbing any chance of election malpractice in 2017.
