A team of politicians and Jubilee Party supporters from Nakuru will visit Kericho County on Friday to show solidarity with the party's senatorial candidate Aaron Cheruiyot.

The group under the banner, Jubilee Digital, comprises members of the Nakuru Analysts group.

Elijah Kinyanjui, the Nakuru Analysts founder last week led a team of 15 members to Nairobi to meet the party transition leaders Meru Senator Kiraitu Murungi and his co-chair Noah Wekesa.

The visit to Kericho comes amid speculations that it will not be an easy ride for the Jubilee candidate in Kericho.

Political analysts say many Kericho residents seem to be more inclined to vote for Paul Sang, the Kanu candidate.

Sang is also said to enjoy the support of newly formed Mashinani Party founded by Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto.

Making the announcement, Kinyanjui who is leading the team, clarified that those going to Kericho are self-sponsored and anyone else is welcome to join them.

“The campaign tour is individually funded by the interested parties and those who want to join Team Jubilee Digital are required to pay Sh900 each for a party polo T-shirt and another Sh1,000 for car hire and fuelling,” explained Kinyanjui.
