The road project in Kibra constituency's Ayany estate is creating excitement among residents, especially the traders.
The 15 kilometer road that stretches from the entrance of Ayany Church to Ayany Primary School is expected to revamp the economy of the constituency headquarters and ease trade.
The construction of the new road which was launched in 2015 by area MP Ken Okoth, comes at the same time with a modern market.
It is a flagship project that was funded by the constituency development funds.
According Dan Otieno, a residen, they have been facing many challenges especially during the rainy seasons and they thank the MP for the support.
“We want the county government to help us construct more roads in Kibra to ease transport,” he added.
“As much as we appreciate the efforts of the government to upscale the economic relevance of the area, we are disappointed by the trucks which disrupt our business,” added Dan.
