Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has called on his opponents to brace for a bruising battle in next year's elections.
Ngunjiri stated he is neither scared nor moved by the number of his opponents saying his record will speak for him.
Speaking Sunday in Ndege Ndimu village, Kimani said he has done a lot for Bahati people and they have no reason to deny him votes in next year's polls.
He claimed his opponents are using money as bait to woo voters, adding they will be shocked at the ballot box.
“There are so many people who want to unseat Kimani Ngunjiri and they are giving out a lot of money when they come around but tell them that it is the ballot that will speak and not their money,” the legislator said.
He added; “My development record in Bahati speaks for itself and the people of Bahati have seen and felt it and that is what will speak next year.”
He further accused his opponents of using bad tactics against him, and called on them to conduct issue based campaigns instead of attacking him as an individual.
