Kisii governor James Ongwae and other county leaders joined students on Thursday in congratulating all candidates who sat for the 2015 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations for their remarkable performance.
The governor appreciated the spirit of hard work that had seen the candidates achieve excellent results.
"As a county, we appreciate your hard work, commitment, and diligence, which has seen you come out with success. We pray for you in your future endeavors, as you further your studies and support in building our county," said Ongwae.
He thanked all teachers, parents, guardians and well wishers, for their support to ensure candidates excelled in their exams.
Among the outstanding schools with remarkable results were Kisii high school and Nyabururu girls' school which scored a mean grade of 10.0 and 9.7 respectively.
