Former Aid to Raila Odinga, Eliud Owalo, has today asked Nairobi leaders to practice constructive politics and stop preaching hatred.
Owalo, who was speaking at Kamukunji after meeting IEBC officials said there was need for leaders to play development politics that will help the county move forward.
“We need politics that will create unity as we depart from tribal politics and by doing so, we will make our country grow,” he said.
He also called upon youths in Kibera to ensure they register as voters in the ongoing process so that they can vote for the best candidates come 2017.
“We all know that the power is on our hands and that’s why we need to register as voters to ensure we win come 2017,” said Owalo.
Owalo also said that he is looking into clinching the Kibera sit at ease come 2017 and called upon all residents to rally by his side.
