The future of our athletes hang on the balance and only parliament can save them now.
World anti-doping agency, WADA gave Kenya a deadline (April 5, 2016) to comply with world anti-doping rules.
If parliament will delay in passing the bill into law, it risks being barred from international athletics competitions.
Our athletes would also miss the upcoming Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
The bill, if passed into law, will make doping a criminal offence.
Our athletes have always made us proud by emerging champions in Olympics and international athletics competition, therefore putting our name in the world map.
To save our athletes, the parliament has no any other option but to pass into law the proposed anti-doping bill which has been presented before them by the anti-doping agency of Kenya, ADAK.
