Celebrated author and motivational speaker, Pepe Minambo launched his new book 'Beyond Limits' on Friday in Nakuru, a month after the official launch in Nairobi.

The event, which was held at Cathay Hotel in Nakuru, attracted hundreds of his fans. Pepe, who entertained the crowd with his humor, challenged Nakuru residents to live their dreams.

He cited the story of the Tuskys supermarket, which started as a venture in Nakuru Bondeni Estate.

"I am documenting the story and I’m always amazed at what the ability to follow our dreams can bring. The owner used to sell tea and mandazi but is now one of the leading entrepreneurs in the country," he said.

"In fact I will be writing their story on how they climbed the success ladder," he added

He added that Kenyans needed to rekindle their childhood dreams.

“Would the child you were once become proud of who you have become? You have to understand that the future belongs to those who create it.

In reality the greatest courage is to follow your heart. The future belongs to the people who believe in the beauty of their dreams,” he added

Pepe, who has authored ten books, challenged Nakuru residents to develop a reading culture.

“Two things define you, the people you hang out with and the books you read,” he added.
