Police said cases of students misbehaving in PSV vehicles while travelling home were on the rise and that law enforcers will punish PSV owners who allow students break the law while travelling.
"Lately, as schools close, many students have been arrested with drugs in vehicles and it is overwhelming mostly because drivers allow them to take the drugs in the vehicle," Yatta OCPD Edward Kipsang said on Friday.
The officer said police will not allow lawlessness during the festive season.
During the August holidays, police in Nyeri arrested students after being arrested smoking and drinking alcohol in a Nairobi-bound bus.
