Politician Boniface Njogu has called on all leaders in Naivasha region to work together in finding a lasting solution to the land rows that have been on the increase in the region.
Speaking Thursday in Naivasha when he joined MPs Ferdinard Waititu (Kabete), Kimani Nginjiri (Bahati) and other leaders, Njogu condemned the perpetrators of the violence that has rocked the region over land.
“I want to pledge my support in the course of finding a lasting solution to the increasing cases of land disputes that have claimed several lives in the recent past. I urge all leaders to come together in this course and promote peace instead of fuelling conflicts among citizens. I also condemn the wrangles that have rocked Utheri Wa Lari members and call for amicable measures to solve this,” Njogu reiterated who is eyeing the Maai Mahiu ward seat.
The leaders had visited two farmers who are admitted at the Naivasha Sub-county Hospital after an attack at Utheri wa Lari on Tuesday.
The leaders from Narok, Kajiado and Nakuru counties have convened in Naivasha in a bid to solve land disputes that have hit the region in the recent past.
