Members of the private sectors have been challenged to join other stakeholders in the fight against corruption.

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) Wednesday launched a regional office in Kisii County which will serve Homa Bay, Nyamira and Kisii counties.

The residents have been advised to take advantage of the office and report any form of corruption.

EACC officers while launching the office urged those in the private sector to join the war against graft, and desist from engaging in corruption deals.

“We are here to campaign against corruption, whether in public offices or in the private sector. We encourage our colleagues in the private sector to free themselves from any form of corruption and join hands with others in the battle,” said John Agali, EACC officer.

“Fighting corruption requires all our efforts,” he added.
