Nakuru politicians have been urged to avoid engaging in divisive politics.
Speaking in Elburgon on Saturday, MCA Florence Wambui said there in a clique of politicians who are used to politics of division to thrive in politics.
He asked the voters to reject such leaders.
“There are some people running around dividing people along tribal lines. We must reject such people,” Wambui said.
Nakuru County was among the worst hit counties by tribal skirmishes in the 2007/08 post-election violence.
Naivasha and Molo sub-counties was among the worst affected area.
