Sixty teenagers on Sunday graduated at the African Inland Church-Kisii after a one week training dubbed Kuinua Kizazi Kipya Teens Academy.

The teenagers expressed their happiness that they had learnt a lot from the seminar.

They called on their colleagues who missed out on the opportunity to come out on next year for the training which they said had transformed their lives.

"The training was good. I learnt on how to play a vocals and keyboard. The hard part of it is when we were being woken up at 4:30am for physical fitness. It was a hard experience more especially from the beginning but I coped up with time," said Christine Sabina, who just finished her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exams in November.

"I hope there will be costumes in the next module because I have an interest in fashion design," she added.

Brian Omondi, who is also waiting for his KCSE results, said he learnt skills of playing a drum set, keyboard and piano.

He called on fellow teens to embrace such training to enable them identify and get their talents nurtured.

"I enjoyed a lot. I ask others to heed the call and attend such seminars. They are important since they can make one know their talent and capitalise in it."

The teens also trained on spiritual, social and intellectual skills.
