Phones and social media have really hyped up peoples social life.
In this modern era, phones and internet access are modernised such that anyone who owns an electronic gadget, let's say a phone, will be glued to the screen 24/7 surfing the web.
The popular sites these days are Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp, Gmail, Sportpesa, and other sites that are not so big as the listed ones.
The accessibility of the sites has made it very hard for people to even relate anymore. You will see a group of youths allegedly hanging out together but in the real sense, they are not talking to each other but are instead all glued to their phones. They will only talk when requesting for follow up on these sites. Others will be seen glued to their earphones listening to music yet they are in a group. So what are friends for if you have no time for them?
This behaviour has taken our world by storm and is common amongst the youths. It has greatly affected the one on one social life because now everything is done via social media. Relationships are also affected. This is because these phones and social media encourage dishonest and trust issues. One is able to track their partners activities o social media very easily.
Social media has made life easier but has also damaged the old society to some extent. People have now become to lazy and use the channel as a solution for everything which is a pity!
