Kiambu county government has moved its land offices to the newly opened Huduma Center to ease the access of services by the members of the public, Thika sub-county administrator Rose Kimani has revealed.
She said that the county government is set to launch the automation of the land files soon to hasten the land crisis in the area.
The residents who had been experiencing difficulties in accessing the services will now get them easily and according to Mrs. Kimani, officials in the offices have been increased to serve more clients than before.
Speaking from Thika town, the administrator said that they have completed the repair of the flood lights and streets lights in Thika town and are now installing new ones all over the sub-county to ensure the safety of the people.
She added that the lights will also boost the business in Thika as the traders can now work till late hours without fear of being attacked.
“The lights have also made it easier for the security personnel to survey every area without difficulties and thus ensure the members of public are safe all the time. We are targeting the whole sub-county installation and we are sure to complete this by next the next two weeks,” she said.
