Nakuru County TNA chairman Samwel Githaiga has claimed that 60 per cent of the county assembly will be occupied by youthful leaders after the 2017 general election.
Githaiga said there is a generational political revolution that will take place next year because the youth have realised it is their time to lead.
Speaking during an interview in his office, Githaiga was upbeat that most of the young people who will contest for Member of County Assembly positions in Nakuru will be elected .
"There are so many young people who have come out and are really working hard to be elected as MCAs and I can tell you that most of them will win," said Githaiga.
"The county assembly will be filled by young people and I am sure 60 per cent of the MCAs will be youths," the chairman added.
He called on young men and women to venture into elective politics because it was there time to lead the county.
"Its time for the youth and as older people we must support these young men and women because they have what it takes to be leaders," he said.
