Following the high demand of kienyeji chicken in Koingas village-Uasin Gishu county, poultry farmers in the area have a reason to smile. Poultry farmers in the village have already began making more profits during the month of December due to the high demand and according to them, this season is always the best for them. 

"The least price currently is Kshs. 500 while others range from Kshs. 600 to Kshs. 800 depending on their size," said Mr. Ian Kipkosgei, a poultry farmer in the area.
