Kisii university students have threatened to boycott lectures over the delay in issuing out of transcripts by their faculties.
Speaking on Tuesday at the university, the students said they will not embark on their lectures until their transcripts are issued with full marks.
"We will have no lectures without transcripts. We cannot continue to do exams yet we do not receive the results in time," said Peter Esunye, a fourth year student.
The sentiments received support from a number of students who lamented that the issue had become a song to the varsity's administration.
Some said they had received their transcripts but with some missing marks.
"I got my transcripts last year, but had 5 missing marks. I was told that some lecturers had not fully submitted the marks to my department," said Geoffrey Mogeni.
The students said they will not attend classes on the first days of opening which is on January 14, until they receive full transcripts.
However, the students' union leaders led by president Jeff Mitei, pledged to solve the matter as soon as possible.
