Voters have been urged to avoid taking bribes in favour of voting for people without initiative just because they have been bribed or lured by the concerned party.
According to Boniface Onchwagwa, who is eyeing for the Kisii Central Ward MCA, residents focus on what the person can do when being elected without knowing what he gives them in favour of voting for him.
''As voters, we should focus on what an elected person can do to develop us and the county. We should not judge the person according to the sweet words they give to us,'' said Onchagwa.
Onchagwa, who is also a youth, has congratulated Nick Mwendwa, using him as an example of a leader who is going to bring great changes to the sports world.
