Former Gatundu North MP, Clement Waibara, has said the projects he initiated had stalled and he looks to complete them when he is given the mandate to do so by the Gatundu North constituency electorates come 2017.
Waibara hinted that he would be going for the parliamentary seat through a Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) ticket in 2017.
He noted that the projects he initiated include: the Kairi-Mataara Road, Kamwangi Market, renovation of dispensaries and other key projects in Gatundu North had stalled and millions of shillings that had been allocated to the projects taken a back.
Speaking in Kamwangi town on Wednesday, the former legislator said that he would support President Kenyatta's' bid for his second term in office come 2017 general elections, with William Ruto as his running mate.
''I know there were rumours after my victory in 2007 that I decamped from TNA to ODM. That was true but come 2017, I have decided to be firm. There is a light of developments in the Jubilee administration which I would like to be part of,'' he said.
Waibara revealed that he would continue to attend church services and harambees aid in the building churches and schools in the area despite his allies citing the moves as 2017 campaign tactics.
