Nakuru County government has assured residents of Kwa Rhonda slums that it is committed to serving everybody in the county.
Environment CeC Richard Rop assured residents of the informal settlement of consideration during allocation of public resources by the county.
Speaking on Monday at Moi Kibowen Primary School after leading other senior county officials in presenting mattresses, blankets, food stuffs and clothing to families displaced by El Nino rains, Rop exuded confidence in finding a solution to the El Nino threat, saying that funds were set aside for the anomaly.
"You are always in our plans because it is our mandate to serve you, we are satisfied as a government when everybody is satisfied with our services," Rop said.
He reiterated that the county government will not rest until all families displaced are relocated, assuring them that everything was under control.
He was accompanied by Public Service Management chief Prof Catherine Kitetu and other senior directors from the county government.
