Teachers have been urged to resume their normal duties without holding any grudge against government.
Parents have said that teachers should not to punish students unnecessary simply because their demands were not satisfied.
A section of parents led by Mrs Susan Osiemo, a trader in Kisii town said it will be useless for teachers to go back to school without morale to teach and guide national exams candidates.
“I want to urge all teachers to assume nothing happened and do their job so that our children can excel in their exams,” said Osiemo.
Sarah Nyakerario also added that it will be wrong for teachers to punish students because of their grievances which are yet to be addressed by the government.
