A man was arraigned in a Nakuru court on Friday for obstructing police officers at Rhino Hotel in Njoro.
Isaac Karugut with others not before the court was accused of obstructing officers and hindering them from conducting a search at the Rhino Hotel on September 9 at Njoro Sub-County.
It is alleged that Karugut together with guards employed at the hotel prevented the officers who were pursuing suspects they believed had hidden at the hotel.
According to the police, thieves had robbed a large retail outlet in Njoro area, escaping with goods and Sh400,000 in cash and were allegedly hiding inside the hotel during the raid.
Appearing before chief Magistrate Joel Ng'eno, he pleaded not guilty and was released on a Sh5,000 cash bail.
The case will be heard on October 13.
This comes after two men were arraigned in the same court on Thursday after allegedly being found in possession of the goods stolen from the supermarket in the September 4 incident.
They were alleged to have been found with a motorcycle, which is believed to have been used to transport the items during the break-in.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Joel Ng'eno, they pleaded not guilty and were released on a cash bail of Sh40,000.
