And do you always kiss your spouse before entering the compound?
A Member of the County Assembly in Kisumu said on Thursday that if you are used to kissing your spouse before driving into the compound, the it is high time you stopped because this is a recipe for trouble for you.
Kisumu Minority Whip Edwin Anayo amused MCAs at the County Assembly when he cautioned them to desist from the behaviour or risk being attacked.
The Milimani Ward MCA to the bemusement of MCAs said cases of couples being attacked at their gates kissing while returning home had increased.
Milimani Ward where Mr Anayo represents at the County Assembly is an upscale estate in Kisumu that is dotted with gated mansions.
"Most lovers spend more than ten minutes just kissing at the gate when the lady is dropped home and this is very risky as thugs can attack," he said.
Mr Anayo said cases of couples being attacked and robbed off valuables were on the rise in the lakeside town and the trend was worrying.
He warned residents not to take their security for granted.
"Just drop your lover and meet the next day to avoid being attacked by thugs,"said Anayo.
The MCA said insecurity in Kisumu was a serious issue and asked the police to heighten their patrols at night.
