A family at Gekomu, Mwembe town in Kisii is appealing for help in searching for two of their children who went missing after the close of the agricultural show on Sunday.

George Moracha the father to Kevin Moracha, 8, and Jecinta Nyabuto, 6, said that they have been in great agony since the two minors went missing.

The two are said to have left their house at 9am on Sunday morning and are believed to have headed for the Agricultuural Society of Kenya (ASK) showground in Kisii.

Their parents were away at a relative’s burial in Sameta where on returning they found the two minors missing.

“We had warned them against going to the showground. I am really worried we might never see him again,” said Moracha.

Caroline Moracha, the children’s mother said that they have tried to find them with help from friends and police but have achieved no success.

She urged members of the public to report missing children to any nearby police station or at any provincial administration office.

Incidents of missing children have been reported in the previous years during the same period.
