The future of the devolved system of governance is in the hands of young people who are ready to take risks and invest wisely.

Speaking in Bahati on Monday when he accompanied the Youth Week caravan, County Youth President Philip Ng’ok said it was time for young people to transform Nakuru to the standards they have always admired.

“We need to inject fresh minds in governance and other sectors of the economy so as to see the Vision 2030 goals achievable. Let’s take this platform to instill the trust we need in our county leadership so that they be ready to support us at any given time,” he said.

Ng’ok called on fellow youth to come out in large numbers at the gala night on Saturday at the Nakuru player’s theatre to indulge local investors and the probable investors in what they feel will turn around the county.

“This is such a beautiful but challenging platform that any young person irrespective of where you come from in the county to meet people who are willing to hold your hands and help you achieve your dreams in the most fulfilling manner possible,” he advised.

Nakuru Youth congress is a young engineered platform where young minds are given the platform to share ideas meant to transform the society positively.

The Youth Week which ends on Saturday is being driven under the theme “Youth Civic Engagement’ and is meant to challenge young people into action in taking up available chances using relevant resources at their disposal to make a difference.
