Abagusii Culture and Development council chairman, James Matundura has revealed that members of his council have enrolled for conflict resolution course at the Kisii University.
According to him, they came up with the idea of joining the university because through the study, they can have more knowledge on how to solve conflicts and maintain peace in the community.
“As the council, we have enrolled in Kisii university to study so that we can be able to get enough experience which will enable us to solve emerging conflicts,”said Chairman Matundura
He also added that they are working closely with the county Government by ensuring that there is peace and that whenever issues arise, they will be there to solve it.
Matundura was speaking on Thursday during the National Council of Elders meeting at Kisii University.
