Youthful scouts in Kisii town have urged the area residents to join them in preaching peace in the region.
Speaking on Tuesday in Kisii town during their Peace Walk which entered the second day led by youthful Kisii Member of the County Assembly Albert Oino, the youths said the mission is aimed at ensuring unity among Kenyans.
“We are on our peace walk to Migori county, on Monday we were in Nyamira to peach peace to bring us together as one nation,” said said the MCA.
He added that through the walk, they will be able to reach people in three counties; Nyamira, Kisii and Migori to tell them the importance of embracing peace in the nation.
“Peace is important and we need to maintain peace, harmony and love among us so that we can achieve our development goals at both the county and national level,” he added.
