Nakuru County will hold its first prayer breakfast on Friday October 2, 2015 as the county seeks to enhance unity and harmony in the region.

The event will start at 7am through to 10 am at the Rift Valley Sports club, Nakuru.

The event has been organised by the Nakuru Church Elders Council, National Prayer Breakfast Chapter and Nakuru Christian Professionals Association.

It is set to bring together 700 top leadership in the county from 19 sectors including the county government executive, Members of Parliament, the county assembly, the national government , the judiciary, religious leaders, learning institutions, NGOs, professionals, youth, women, community and business leaders.

A letter sent to news rooms and seen by this writer says the objective of the prayer breakfast is to enhance unity and harmony under the theme; Fostering unity in diversity towards the social and economic development of the county.

The chief guest will be Government Kinuthia Mbugua.
