Nakuru County The National Alliance party chairman Abdi Noor has urged the  National Cohesion and Integration Commission to crack the whip on politicians out to incite the public.

“NCIC should investigate politicians propagating negative ethnicity and perceptions of discrimination and discipline them,” said Noor.

Noor said such politicians lack integrity and the best solution is to discipline them to act as warning to those with similar motives.

Speaking on Saturday in Nakuru town to media, Noor said NCIC should underpin the need to have a Kenyan culture that is founded on the tenets provided by the national values and warned political inciters against abusing the tenets .

“The commission should stick to their functions and discipline those going against their mandates,” said Noor.

The TNA chair also urged politicians to embrace national valves and uphold national identity.

“Politicians should be in the forefront of promoting principles, standards and best practices that should guide the process of national cohesion and integration,” added Noor.

He said elected leaders should to strive to build and strengthen the capacity of state and in fostering national identity.
