Appearing before Senior Principle Magistrate Joe Omido, he pleaded not guilty on both accounts and was released on a bond of Sh50,000 with the same amount as surety and an alternative cash bail of Sh20,000.
Owino told the court that he bought some of the properties because he did not know they were stolen.
“It is true that the properties were with me but I bought some of them, the number of the iron sheets was not 30. I also did not know that the properties were stolen,” he said.
He claimed that the iron sheets were not 30 as mentioned in the charge sheet.
The case will be heard on October 28
